Megan Douglas, as Managing Director of the company, has over 15 years’ experience as a Professional Conference Organiser. Megan has managed a wide variety of events from seminars for 50 people through to high-profile conferences for over 1000 delegates. Megan’s personal ownership and investment in the company guarantee the highest quality of service and professionalism to all our clients.

Shahna Smith

Event Manager

Shahna is an experienced event manager at Conference Co-ordinators, having worked here since 2009. She has always been driven to improve her skills and knowledge of the event industry and enjoys working on all parts of each event.

After starting as an office administrator, she is now a project manager and graphic designer for our clients. She has managed events in many locations across Australia, from Adelaide to Alice Springs, with attendance ranging from 100 to 700.

Prior to her role here, Shahna also had extensive experience in hospitality at leading Canberra properties.

Shelby Walters

Conference Administrator and Social Media Specialist

Following a fast-paced career in hospitality, Shelby joined our team in April 2021. In her role, she manages delegate registrations and accommodation from contract negotiation through to conference end, our social media accounts, and client banking from payment processing to financing reporting. With her background in hospitality and continued growth in business administration and accounting, Shelby strives to find the intersection of these skills in the conference industry.

Outside of work, Shelby will soon start her penultimate year of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the ANU. With big plans in mind, Shelby is very adventurous and an avid traveller!
