- Where is the conference venue?
The 2019 ATRF is being held at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra, 120 Commonwealth Ave, Canberra ACT 2600
- Is there parking at the Venue?
Parking for delegates is available in the 200 plus off-street car spaces surround Hyatt Hotel Canberra. Fees are $13.50 per day Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Weekends are free.
- What will the weather be like?
Canberra spring days are characterised by clear sunny skies but the days are cool at around 17-20C and temperatures do drop to 10c on average in the evenings, so be sure to bring a light jacket. Rain in spring can be unpredicatable as well.
- How do I pay for my accommodation?
You will to contact the hotel directly to arrange payment.
- What time does the registration desk open?
The registration desk will be open at the following times:

- I have special dietary requirements – what do I do?
During the registration process you will be asked to list your special dietary requirements, which will be passed onto the venues close to the event date.
Every effort will be made to accommodate all special dietary requirements where advance notification was given. You will need to make yourself known to a staff member at catering times in order to obtain your special meal.

During the registration process you will be asked to list your accessibility requirements, which will be passed onto the venues close to the event date.
Access and facilities for people with disabilities are provided throughout the Hotel. If you require more details, please call Conference Co-ordinators 02 6292 9000.
- Will there be a participants list?
A copy of the participants list will be available when you collect your namebadge.
If you would like your name on the list, please ensure you select to 'yes' option when registering. If you do not argee when you register, you will not be included on the list.
- How will I know if there have been any changes to the program?
Every effort will be made to ensure the online program is updated as any changes come in.
- How do I know if I am registered for a social function?
After registering for the conference you would have been emailed a Registration Confirmation which included the social functions you have been registered for. IF you have any questions regarding this, please contact Conference Co-ordinators on 02 6292 9000 or ATRF@confco.com.au
- When and where are the Social Events?

- Can we do a shared registration?
Yes, if you are choosing to share your registration you will only be issued with one name badge, satchel and social function tickets. We can re print a name badge with the next attendees name if the original badge is returned.
Only one person under a shared registration may attend at any one time. Badges should be passed onto the next registrant or returned to the registration desk at the end of the session/day. Name badges will not be reissued if not returned. Please ensure all people attending under a shared registration are aware of the terms.
- Privacy Disclosure
ATRF collects your personal contact information in its role as a peak body for Transport Research. ATRF may disclose your personal contact information to the sponsors of the event for the purposes of commercial business opportunities. If you consent to ATRF using and disclosing your personal contact information in this way, please tick the appropriate box on the registration form.
Importantly, your name may also be included in the ATRF List of Participants. You must tick the appropriate box on the registration form if you wish your name to appear in this list.
